Harvard/MIT Student Showcase

Spotlight at The COOP

Our second annual Spotlight at The COOP brought together 20 Harvard and MIT student creators, thinkers, and entrepreneurs and the result was something truly special.

Thank you to everyone in our community who showed up to support them. Seeing the space come alive with this level of creativity, talent, and energy is exactly why we do this.

We’re especially excited to congratulate Zenda Walker, whose “Know Your Hairitage” series earned her a meeting with our Chief Marketing Officer, Adrian Gil.

More than a book series, Know Your Hairitage: Curls, Culture & Community is a multisensory children’s experience rooted in identity, representation, and self-love. Through storytelling and interactive elements like prestyled doll heads, custom bookmarks, coloring pages, puzzles, and cultural artifacts, her work creates space for young readers, especially children of color, to see themselves reflected and celebrated.

We look forward to continuing to support and celebrate this next generation of creators at The COOP!
