About the Artist
Pollen Price (@bostonpollen) is a visual and performance artist whose creative journey has flourished from the bustling streets of Boston to the serene woods of rural Oregon. A former student of the Boston Conservatory, she transitioned from the performing arts into visual art with florals, becoming a celebrated wedding florist and earning the title of Boston's Best Wedding Florist in 2019. Her work has graced the pages of esteemed publications, including The Boston Globe, Martha Stewart Weddings, Brides, Town & Country, and Domino.
Now residing in a quaint one-room cabin within an eco-village, Pollen embraces a life steeped in nature and community. When she’s not weaving together dried flowers and folded books, she can be found growing and preserving organic food, leading daily meditation, wrangling chickens, mediating community conflicts, constructing fairy houses, or joyfully playing with the village children. As the Coop's Artist in Residence, she brings her unique vision to life.
LeanOnMe Collection: Embrace Vases
Through moments of young adulthood grief, loneliness in new cities, and missing friends and family to pursue my dreams I found myself constantly looking for connection. The silver linings, in everything and everyone around me. Enamored by the simplicity, and extremely human act, of loving.
Through asking strangers from all over the world the question “What is Love to you?” and sparking long heartfelt conversation and friendships these artworks came to life. LeanOnMe is a growing collection of pieces that embody the experiences of love shared with me. Forms based on observations, stories, and personal experiences showcasing our innate ability to experience love with others, ourselves, and within the world around us.
